Rachel has been an elementary school teacher for the past fifteen years. She holds bachelor's degrees in French and History from the University of New Mexico and a master's degree in Elementary Education from the College of Santa Fe. Rachel is also a National Board Certified Teacher, 2016 TouchCast Ambassador, 2016 Apple Teacher, 2017 TouchCast Star Ambassador, 2017 Nearpod Pionear, 2017 Nearpod Certified Educator, a National Geographic Certified Educator, a two-time TEDxABQ Education Speaker, a 2017 Apple Distinguished Educator, a PBS Digital Innovator, the Henry Ford Innovative Teacher, and the ISTE Making IT Happen award recipient. Most recently, Rachel has been named a 2021 Colorado Teacher of the Year Finalist.
Steven has been an elementary school teacher the past twelve years years. The Lamb's initial step into the world of digital collaboration started with students from both classes sharing information such as their interests using various digital tools like TouchCast, Popplet, Zoom, QuickTime, iMovie, iCloud, and iWorks. As both the teachers and students became familiar and comfortable with collaborative technology there was a shift from simply sharing interests to sharing knowledge. It was at this point that The Lambs identified the need for a technological foundation to help teachers and students be successful in their digital collaborations. The result was the creation of a cross-district collaboration and learning environment that was rewarding and beneficial to students and teachers.
